Ireland 2018 Grand Slam Team Special
A stunning team special collage to celebrate Ireland’s 2018 Grand Slam triumph – captured on St Patrick’s day against England at Twickenham.
The 2018 team became only the 3rd side in Irish rugby history to claim the iconic Grand Slam title and only Rory Best and Rob Kearney were in the Ireland side that last won the Grand Slam against Wales in 2009.
Ireland’s 3 tries included a record 7th Championship try for their new try scoring superstar Jacob Stockdale – whose opportunist try on the stroke of half time effectively ended the game as a contest and secured the Grand Slam.
The composure and intensity Ireland showed proved too much for England on their home turf and Ireland, with wins against all of the world’s top teams in recent times, march on to the 2019 World Cup full of confidence.
