A superb collage to celebrate England’s 3-1 test series win over South Africa – the first win over the visiting South Africans on home soil since 1998.
The hard fought series victory was the first under new captain Joe Root who showed no signs of the captaincy affecting his batting with a match-winning 190 in the first test at Lord’s.
With two world class bowling attacks making life difficult for top order batsmen on both sides in bowler friendly conditions, it was England’s dynamic middle order trio of Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali who all produced vital innings at key moments to turn matches in England’s favour.
Moeen Ali was also the leading series wicket taker with 25 wickets including a memorable hat-trick at the Oval off the final 3 balls of the match (the celebration of the hat-trick is showcased in the middle of the collage). Moeen Ali became the first player in test history to score 250 runs and take 25 wickets in a 4 match series and was deservedly named man of the series.
All players who represented England during the series are shown in the collage. The collage is available as a 28” x 20” photographic print with the names and captions in place, as a 32” x 24” frame ready mount or fully framed at approx. 24” x 26”.
