They claimed the first Commonwealth Games title on offer in 2022 and by winning their 6th Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2023, ensured they now hold all the major trophies available to them – The Women’s Ashes, The 50 over World Cup, The T20 World Cup and Commonwealth Games Gold.
Their team is packed with modern day cricketing superstars and has been brilliantly led by captain Meg Lanning.
The team collage includes all of the key players who have played their part in the team’s success in recent years and focuses around the Test win at Trent Bridge in the first match of the 2023 multi-format Ashes series. Australia won the match and showcased their competitiveness and winning mentality as they managed to turn the match their way in the final innings when England looked on course for victory.
