Born in Fogapoa Samoa, Etuale Manusamoa Tuilagi, known simply as Manu Tuilagi, has enjoyed both club and international level fame. Having enjoyed a long and successful career at Leicester Tigers, which included a 2013 Premiership final try against Northampton Saints, Manu Tuilagi signed a deal with Sale Sharks to kick off the 2020/21 season.

Tuilagi has also played internationally for England and the British and Irish Lions. He was named in England’s training squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup and in August that year made his England debut in the 2011 World Cup warm-up match against Wales at Twickenham, during which he scored a try after an epic pass from Jonny Wilkinson. An international career highlight for Tuilagi also saw the centre score three tries against New Zealand at Twickenham in the final match of the 2012 Autumn international.

Manu Tuilagi joined the Lions for their 2013 tour to Australia and returned to the England squad in 2016 for the Six Nations Championship. Tuilagi also appeared in the England squad for the 2019 Six Nations that saw the team finish in second place.
