Rory McIlroy backed up a flawless opening round of 66 (6 under the par of 72) with another 66 in Round 2. A few problems in the third round were swept aside with sensational Eagle 3's at the 2 closing par 5's - holes 16 and 18 leading to 4 under par 68. Taking a 6 shot lead in to the final round Rory McIlroy calmly held of the charging Sergio Garcia and playing partner Rickie Fowler to finish with a 1 under par 71 and a 17 under par (271) total. In claiming his third major title to add to his US Open Title (2011) and USPGA Title (2012) Rory joined the game's 2 greatest players Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players in the history of the game to win 3 major titles by the age of 25.
