Wayne Rooney England Goal Record Special
A superb collage of images to celebrate Wayne Rooney’s historic achievement of breaking the England Goal Scoring Record. Wayne Rooney surpassed Sir Bobby Charlton’s previous record of 49 goals with a late penalty in England’s Euro 2016 Qualifying win against Switzerland at Wembley on the 8th September 2015.
Wayne Rooney burst on to the international scene becoming the youngest player to score for England as a 17 year old. A year later he was England’s star at the Euro Championships in Portugal scoring 4 goals in just 4 games.
His longevity has been rewarded with over 100 caps, The England captaincy and now the England Goal Scoring record.
The collage features his 1st England goal, his star performance at Euro 2004 and his passing of some of England’s legends on his way to reaching his half century of England goals. Michael Owen’s tally of 40, Jimmy Greaves (44), Gary Lineker (48) and Sir Bobby Charlton (48)
The collage is available as a 32” x 20” photographic print with all the caption information in place, in a 36” x 24” frame ready mount and fully framed at approx. 38” x 26”.
