Chris Froome of Great Britain and Team Sky was forced to run up Mont Ventoux on Stage 12 of the 2016 Tour de France after his bike was not in a rideable state following a crash with a cameraman’s motorbike (not our photographer we must point out!) – Quite literally thinking on his feet – Chris Froome began running up the hill until he could find a replacement bike to finish the stage. Having borrowed a bike from a team mate he finished the stage and went on to claim his 3rd Tour de France title.
