A superb montage to celebrate arguably the greatest test team in the history of cricket. Unbeaten in a test series from 1980 until 1995 this West Indian team is regarded by many as the greatest test side of all time - a test side boasting true legends of the game throughout the team. The dominant era started with visionary captain Clive Lloyd who having lost a series in Australia in the mid 1970's at the hands of Aussie quicks Lillie and Thompson decided to fight fire with fire and unleash his own arsenal of lightning fast bowlers onto the test arena and the era of almost total West Indian dominance began. Clive Lloyd was succeeded as captain in 1984 by Sir Vivian Richards who captained the side in 50 tests until 1991 never losing a test series - part of an unbeated period that streteched from 1980 to 1995. The team was perhaps most well known for the fearsome battery of fast bowlers - Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Colin Croft, Malcolm Marshall and Andy Roberts who terrorised batting line ups around the world for well over a decade. As some of these players retired during the 1980's the success continued into the mid 1990's thanks to modern greats Brian Lara and the legendary exploits of fast bowling duo Courtney Walsh and Curtley Ambrose. The montage is available print only, mounted or framed with the print only option coming as a single 28" x 20" photographic print with all the player names and captions in place. Code: SPGWITSL
