A stunning montage to celebrate Jessica Ennis-Hill’s memorable gold medal winning performance at the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing. The performance was all the more remarkable as Jessica Ennis-Hill had only returned to training in late 2014 following the birth of her son Reggie. She only decided to take part in the event in the last few weeks leading up to the Championships fearing her preparations weren’t quite ready to take on the world’s best.
Entering the Championships Ennis-Hill had limited her expectations to a place on the podium but a series of gritty and consistent performances across the 7 disciplines earned her the gold medal and her 2nd World Championship Gold to add to her Olympic Gold in 2012.
The montage features an image from each of the 7 heptathlon disciplines – 1. 100 metres hurdles (12.91 seconds) 2. High Jump (1.86 metres) 4. Shot Put (13.73 metres) 4. 200 metres (23.42 seconds) 5. Long Jump (6.43 metres) 6. Javelin (42.51 metres) 7. 800 metres (2 minutes 10.13 seconds) POINTS TOTAL – 6669
Her joy and emotion at achieving victory was clear to see at the end of the final event – the 800 metres, leading to memorable scenes at the finish line.
The montage is available as a single 28” x 20” photographic print with all the caption information in place, in a frame ready mount at 36” x 24”and fully framed at 38” x 28”.
